PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Foreign Trade Department, established under the Ezine Vocational School of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, conducts educational, instructional, and research activities in the field of social sciences within the framework of a single program. The Foreign Trade Program aims to provide education opportunities for students at the associate degree level with the title of intermediary personnel for both the public and private sectors. Our department offers theoretical and practical training in the fields of foreign trade and customs. Those who wish to continue their undergraduate education and meet the necessary requirements can benefit from this opportunity through the Vertical Transfer Exam. Our Vocational School opened the Foreign Trade Program, affiliated with the Foreign Trade Department, in the 2014-2015 academic year. The program has a quota of 41 students, and the language of instruction is Turkish.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

The Ezine Vocational School Foreign Trade Department aims to provide contemporary foreign trade education in line with the scientific, academic, and cultural goals that are developing in the units affiliated with our university. In the intense competitive environment brought about by globalization, the department aims to contribute to closing the gap for personnel with knowledge and skills in foreign trade within the scope of our country's foreign trade goals while managing the existing or potential production capacities of businesses.

PROGRAM GOALS

The program aims to train professionals who are equipped with the terminology required in the professional field, proficient in the international professional language, capable of establishing a connection between the basic goals and functions of businesses and the external environment, able to follow national and international changes and determine business positions according to these changes, knowledgeable about the documents and papers used in foreign trade transactions, and able to regulate them, proficient in foreign exchange regulations, payment methods used in foreign trade, knowledgeable about foreign trade legislation and changes in legislation, capable of managing financial, accounting, and taxation issues in foreign trade transactions, capable of conducting logistic and operational processes, and skilled in written and verbal communication with strong communication abilities.
